The night of July 16, 2014, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver joined Sharon Van Etten at the Minneapolis venue First Avenue to perform “Love More.”

It’s beautiful.

Sharon Van Etten’s Are We There is due out May 27, 2014. It just got a mindblowing review in the New Yorker.

While we wait for it we can watch Van Etten cover Bruce Springsteen’s “Drive All Night” at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.

Audio: Sharon Van Etten Releases 1st Song Off New Album – ‘Taking Chances’

We knew Sharon Van Etten’s new album, Are We There, was to be released on May 27, 2014.

Now we can hear the first song off it, “Taking Chances.”

As I’ve posted previously, Sharon Van Etten has a new album, Are We There, out in May 2014.

Today she offered up a short video that makes me really want to hear the whole album.

Sharon Van Etten To Release New album, ‘Are We There?’

The fourth Sharon Van Etten album will be called Are We There? and will include guest appearances by Torres, Shearwater’s Jonathan Meiburg, Lower Dens’ Jana Hunter, and Peter Broderick, according to Brooklyn Vegan. The album is due out in May 2014.

Van Etten released a terrific third album, Tramp, in 2012.

Some of the songs from Are We There? have been played by Van Etten in concert: “Nothing will Change,” “Tarifa,” and “Your Love Is Killing Me.” ALso on the album: “You Know Me Well,” “Pay My Debts,” “Afraid of Nothing,” and “Break Me.”
