I’m reading Simon Reynolds excellent “Blissed Out” and I just got to an essay in which he talks about the British band Loop. I’d never heard them so I put on their debut album, 1987’s
Heaven’s End and wow, what a mindblower. Definitely an early The Stooges vibe.
