If this version of forgetful heart doesn’t blow you away one may ask if you have a heart… It’s amazing how the man sings again with that phrasing and elongated and bended tones like he did in his prime… And now with a world weary old and wise voice… It knocks me out so beautiful…
Let them come who claim he cannot sing anymore… It’s true there have been sloppy performances through the years, but he rules once more!
What a joy and that while The Basement Tapes will find a proper release as well!
