At Neil Young’s Bridge School benefit concert this past Sunday night (October 27, 2013) there was an all-star performance of Lou Reed’s “Oh! Sweet Nuthin’.”
Jim James of My Morning Jacket led a group of musicians that included Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis and others.

To bring attention to the Fela Kuti covers album, Red Hot + Fela, My Morning Jacket, Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard, and tUnE-yArDs’ Merill Garbus with assistance from The Roots and Antibalas Horns performed a powerful rendition of Fela’s “Trouble Sleep Yanga Wake Am” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Friday night (Oct. 11, 2013).
