Last night, December 10, 2014, playing a gig at Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern, The Hold Steady covered Neil Young’s classic “Don’t Let It Bring You Down.”

Last night The Hole Steady delivered this blistering performance of the excellent “I Hope This Whole Thing Didn’t Frighten You,” which is on the equally excellent Teeth Dreams.

Pretty great power-pop from Cheap Girls with Craig Finn adding some background vocals.

The song is called “Man In Question.”

I also dig this other song by Cheap Girls, “Knock Me Over.”

Both songs are off their upcoming album, Famous Graves, out May 13, 2014.
